Jackie Wayne Smith age 62 of Waller passed away Friday Oct. 3, 2014. Jackie is preceded in death by his father, Jack E.E. Smith; mother, Leta Mae Jones, sister; Mary Beth Pankiewicz, Susan Turner. He is survived by his Wife Barbara Lynn Smith; mother; Elva Jean Smith; daughters, Charon Marshall, Leslie Barkley and husband Kevin, Jessica Miller, Angela Covington and husband Victor. sisters; Pattie Holman and husband Tommy, Pam Garrett, Elaine Cherry and husband Randy, Marsha Jackson and husband Alfred, Terri Heath; grandchildren, Kristian Jay Marshall, Taylor Renee Smith-Ermis, Kyle Wayne Marshall, Isabella Alexis Covington.

Visitation will be Tuesday October 7, 2014 from 5 -8 PM at Canon Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held Wednesday October 8, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Canon funeral home with Pastor Allen McClure officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh cemetery. Because of Jackie's intense love for animals, the family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the SPCA at 900 Portway Drive Houston, Texas 77024-8022.
