Video Tribute

Israel M. Tamez, age 78 of Hempstead, passed away on November 23, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents Clementina and Isaias Tamez and his wife Estella Tamez.

Israel is survived by his sons Santos Ismael Tamez (Dora Maria Gonzales), Demetrio Israel Tamez (Kathryn); daughter Racquhel  Tamez Zanders (Kevin Ray); brothers Arthur and Vivian Tamez and children Michael and Christina, Albert and Perla Tamez; grandchild Blaine Matthew Tamez; as well as other family and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, December 2, 2024, from 8-10am with a Rosary at 10am at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 11am at with Deacon John Pelletier officiating. Interment will follow at Fieldstore Cemetery.
