Ida Ruth Harrington McMinn, age 93, of Leitchfield, KY. passed away on April 13, 2018 at Swan Manor, Baytown, TX. where she resided for six years. She was a long-time member of Leitchfield First United Methodist Church in KY and a more recent member of Waller Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Hubert W. McMinn Sr., father Hubert Harrington and mother, Zelma Aline Morgan Nelson. She is survived by her son, Hubert W. McMinn, Jr. his wife Carolyn of Waller, TX; daughter Victoria Swenson, husband Peter of Center Moriches, N.Y. and daughter Charlane Paul and husband Nicholas Busch of Tucson, AZ. Also, eight grandchildren: Hubert McMinn III, Laura Varela, Kristen Mullinnix, Deanna Bocchetti, Kerry Chicon, James Swenson, Michele Rubenstein, Amanda Pawlowski, 22 great grandchildren, one great- great granddaughter, many loving care givers at Swan Manor and numerous friends.
Memorial service will be Saturday, May 26, 2018, 10:30 A.M. at Waller Baptist Church, 2520 Cherry Street, Waller, TX. Her remains will reside next to her loving husband in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff, KY.
