Helen Thompson Beals, age 90, of Midland, Texas passed away October 4, 2023.

She was born March 6, 1933, to Harvey Thompson and Annie Gerbig Thompson of Waller, Texas.

Helen is survived by her son Charles Ray Beals of Midland, Texas and grandson Keeton Ryan Jacobs (wife Becky and granddaughter Rye). Also surviving her are many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert E. L. Beals. She is also preceded in death by her parents, brother John Thompson and his wife Robbie, sister Mary Ann and husband Cecil Harvey Carr, and brother Bill Thompson and wife Frieda.

"When I am gone, release me. Let me go. I have so many things to see and do.

You must not tie yourself to me with tears. Be happy we had so many beautiful years together.

I gave you my love. You can only guess how much you have to me and your daddy in happiness.

It's only for a while that we must part. So bless the memories within your heart.

I won't be far away for life goes on. So, if you need me, call and I will come."

Visitation will be Monday, October 9, 2023, from 9-11am at Canon Funeral Home. Graveside Services will follow at Waller Cemetery at 11:30am with Pastor Tom Dobbs officiating.
