Helen Baumgartner, born on February 25, 1925 in Minneapolis, Minnesota went to be with our Lord on Thursday, September 8, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Baumgartner; parents, Charles and Ruth Kleckner, twin grandsons, Jimmy and Timmy Nelson, daughter-in-law Dorcas Baumgartner; sons-in-law Ross (Bud) Bauguss and Elmer Hosea.

She is survived by her daughters, Alvina Hosea. Ruthann Nelson and husband Mike and Charleen Bauguss; son, Richard Baumgartner and wife Jan; brother, Norman Kleckner; 13 grandchildren, David Baumgartner and wife Carol, Scott Baumgartner and wife Yolanda, Rhonda Baumgartner, Kirby Baumgartner and wife Jackie, Patricia Stowers, Steven Hosea and wife Lori, Brent Hosea and wife Gina, Pam Leach and husband Arlo, Richard Nelson and wife Pam, Vicki Stark and husband Randy, Debra Stiles and husband Wesley, Mike Hernandez and wife Kristy, Jaime Lane and husband Brian, 23 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Helen moved to Waller in 1951, was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, worked at S&N grocery Store.

Visitation will be at Canon Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, September 12, 2016 from 5-8 pm. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at 10am at Canon Funeral Home with Rev. Karen Nelson officiating. Interment will follow at Waller Cemetery.
