Hazel Rae Ellis, age 80 of Teague, TX, passed away on July 7, 2019. She is preceded in death by parents Travis and Ruby Hogue; husband Charles Smith; daughter Teresa Smith; granddaughter Christy Price and is survived by husband Charles Ellis; son Travis Smith and wife Terri; daughter Charlene Hoffart and husband Ronald; stepdaughters Kathern Roskydal and husband Troy and daughter Margaret Ann, Sheryl Swanson and husband Keith and son H.D.; sisters Peggy Reeves and Lilly Hargrave; grandchildren Jesse Miles and wife Brigette, Emmarie Valdez and husband Christopher, Erica Kurth and husband Ryan, Taylor Smith, Charles Hoffart; great grandchildren McKenna Miles, Alejandro Flores, Sophia Valdez, Addisyn Miles, Brody Kurth, Layci Miles, Scarlett Valdez, Blake Kurth and Lane Miles.

Visitation will be Thursday  July 11, 2019 from 6-8pm at Cannon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday July 12, 2019 at 11am at Cannon Funeral Home with Pastor Cathy Beasley officiating.  Interment will follow at Waller Cemetery.
