Hazel Lea Boettcher, age 89 of Waller passed away on May 26, 2018. She is preceded in death by her husband HJ "Buddy" Boettcher, and son Jimmy Boettcher; and is survived by her daughters Cheryl Liere and husband Arthur, Cynthia Powers and husband Bob; Grandchildren Toni Fajkus & husband Kirk, A.R. Bubba Liere Jr, Melissa Liere Boenker and husband Preston, Mike Boettcher and wife Lisa, Jamie Clancy and husband J.D., Kayce Warden and husband Cody, Justin Powers and wife Paige, Kristi Cox and husband Kelly, Jordan Powers, Great grandchildren Kyle Fajkus, Kaylea Fajkus Sassie and husband Seth, Lane Boenker, Dustin Boenker, Brady Boenker, Blair Warden, Sterling Warden, Whitney Bradley, Caraline Bradley, Lainey Powers, Colby Boettcher, Calan Boettcher, and Jay Clancy.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 5-8 pm at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 10 am at Waller Baptist Church with Blake Nichols officiating. Interment will follow at Waller Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Waller Baptist Church or First United Methodist Church of Waller.
