Gloria Smith, age 82 of Spring, was born September 24, 1937 to Ernest and Edna Lazaro in Rangoon, Burma. She passed away on January 21, 2020 surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Edna Lazaro; stepfather Patrick Fowle. She is survived by her sons Doug Smith, Jr., Bruce Smith, Brad Smith and wife Robin; daughters Jenny Smith, Lyn Love and husband Ken; brother Eddie Fowle and wife Bonnie; sisters Sheila Fowle and husband Rual, Patti Hobin and husband Pat, Colleen Rice; grandchildren Michael, Macie, Jason, Justin, Ryan, Miranda, Taylor, Shelby, Jared, Hailey, Cade, Mackenzie, Landon, Sydney, Grayson, Grant; great grandchildren Madyson, Gavyn, Brayden, Skye, Ashlynn, Amber, Alyson, Katie, Gracie, Abbie, Lillie, Chris, Aubree; great great granddaughter Ava; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Monday,  January 27, 2020 from 5-7pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 10am at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church with Father Xavier Bilavendiran officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
