Gertrude "Trudy" Crosby was born in Bellville, Texas on November 14, 1936 to Theodore and Cecilia Koteras. She married the love of her life, Allen "Bing" Crosby, on March 14, 1953. She and Bing built their forever home in Hempstead. She retired from CyFair Transportation Services where she drove the Special Education bus for over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents as well as brothers, Ted and Edmond. She is survived by her sister Helen Petrosky; her husband of 66 years 11-1/2 months, Allen; children Trisha (Tracy) Templer, Karen (Roy) Dittfurth, Rodney (Tina) Crosby and Gina (Michael) Wilson; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren, nieces, and nephew.
Serving as pallbearers are her grandsons Greg Barron-Gafford, Jason Barron-Ethridge, Kevin DeMoss, Jimmy DeMoss, Allen Prine, Cody Crosby, Brandon Crosby and Cameron Crosby.

Visitation will be Monday, February 24, 2020 from 5-8 pm at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 10am at Canon Funeral Home with Amy Barron-Gafford officiating. Interment will follow at Hempstead Cemetery. Please note, there will be no procession. Reception following interment at the Hempstead Masonic Lodge. 701 Main St. at 7 th in downtown Hempstead.
