Geraldine "Ginger" Reynolds, age 80 of Hempstead, passed away on June 30, 2019. She is preceded in death by parents Joe and Bertha Gottselig, and is survived by her husband William Reynolds; son Todd Reynolds; daughter Tracey Nichols and husband Ronney; sisters Betty Morrow, Doris Pavalock; grandchildren Randi Starr and husband Nick, Zach Nichols, Lauren Reynolds; great grandchildren Lanee Starr, Blake Starr, Adalynn Starr; as well as other relatives and friends.

Ginger was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church for many years. She loved to sew and made many prom dresses, costumes, and clothes for her family and friends. Ginger loved to cook and always made her "signature" Red Velvet Cake for family members' birthdays. She loved her Bromeliads and other plants.

The family wishes to thank all of the family and friends that sent cards, provided meals, made visitations, prayed for her and called to check on Ginger.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Katharine Drexel New Church Fund.

Visitation will be Tuesday,  July 2, 2019 from 5-7pm with Rosary at 7pm at Canon Funeral Home.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 10am at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church with Father James Burkhart officiating.  Interment will be at Houston National Cemetery at 2:15pm.
