George "Buddy" Castle, age 89 of Hempstead, passed away on February 5, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents John Henry and Hazel Mae Castle; wife Janice Castle; grandson Michael Martin.

George is survived by daughters Tommy Castle, Renee Shoemaker, Docia Charanza; sons Brett Castle, Brad Castle; grandchildren Tohbie Powledge, Justin Powledge, Ryan Hogan, Rodney Hull, Brittany Barker, Tiffany Olguin, Tristan Shoemaker, Parker Castle, Dylan Jones, Cordel Castle, Colby Castle; twenty great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Visitation will be Friday, February 9, 2024, from 5 to 7 pm at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 11 am at Canon Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Zwernemann officiating. Interment will follow at Kirby Chapel Cemetery.
