Frieda Theresa Linseisen Thompson, age 86 of Waller passed away on September 1, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Katharina Huber Linseisen; sisters Dorothy Linseisen Nichols, and Rosemary Linseisen. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Bill Thompson; daughter Dorothy Schmidt and husband Allen; son John Thompson and wife Rosemary; Grandsons Douglas Schmidt and wife Brigitte, Ray Schmidt and wife Kristin, Christopher Thompson and wife Becca, and Matthew Thompson; Great grandchildren Colton Thompson and Barrett, Fisher, Carter, Avery, and Grant Schmidt; Seven brothers and their wives Frank (Pat), John(Jesse), Raymond(Annette), Carl (Carole), Edward (Rita), James, and Leroy
(Ruth Ann) Linseisen; along with many nieces, nephews, and a multitude of friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 5:30 pm-7:00pm with a prayer vigil at 7:00 pm at Canon Funeral Home. A mass of Christian burial will be Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 10 am at Saint Katharine Drexel Catholic church with Father David Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Waller Cemetery.
