Frederick "Freddy" Spinks, age 57 of Hempstead went home to be with the Lord on May 18, 2018. He is preceded in death by his father, Samuel Lewis Spinks, brother, Sammy Spinks, sister, Norma Jean King; and is survived by his mother, Etta Spinks; brother, John Spinks; sisters, Connie Wawarofsky, Peggy Foudray and husband Jerry as well as numerous nieces and nephews and relatives.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at Canon Funeral Home. Graveside Services will follow at 1 pm at Canon Mathis Cemetery with Pastor Johnny Scruggs officiating.
