Franklin Donald "Donnie" Hirsekorn Jr., age 68 of Waller, passed away on December 19, 2023.

He was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and uncle. Donnie was born in Costa Mesa, California on July 3, 1955, and moved to Houston, Texas with his parents in 1956. He was the father of five sons and seven grandchildren. He worked with his father building airplane kits and other fiberglass products before starting his own business, Truck Guard Equipment, and then later High-Tech Fiberglass working on boats, which was his passion. Donnie enjoyed boating and just spending time on the water.

He is preceded in death by his father Franklin D. "Shorty" Hirsekorn Sr.

Donnie is survived by his mother Joyce" Joy" Hirsekorn; sons Franklin D. "Trey" Hirsekorn III and wife Miranda, Christopher "Chris" Hirsekorn and wife Tiffany, Justin D. Hirsekorn, Mark Hirsekorn and wife Amanda, Steven Hirsekorn; brother David Hirsekorn; sisters Kathy Campbell and husband Mike, Deanna Hirsekorn; grandchildren Treydon Hirsekorn, Ari Hirsekorn, Clayton Hirsekorn, Payton Hirsekorn, Naveah Hirsekorn, Austen Hirsekorn, Charlotte Joy Hirsekorn; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Graveside Services will be held Thursday February 15, 2024, at 11am at Canon Mathis Cemetery.
