Florence Dorsey, age 94 of Hockley, passed away on November  5, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents John and Goldie Lloyd; sons James and Benny Sowell; brothers Ray, Fred, Johnny, Louis; sisters Alta and Hazel. She is survived by her son David Sowell; daughter Goldie Slade and husband Bob; sister Janet Webb; grandchildren Rob Slade, Khristina Knight, James Sowell, Ann Kernodle, Noah Wright-Sowell, Adam Wright, John Sowell, Dustin Sowell; as well as several great grandchildren and friends.
