Erick Nelson, age 77 of Hempstead passed away on August 19, 2019. He is preceded in death by parents Oscar and Alvina Nelson; sisters Kay Weise, Audrey Quast; daughter Michelle Nelson. He is survived by wife Sue Nelson; son Michael Nelson; daughter Kelly Springer and husband Wayne; brother King Nelson and wife Karen; granddaughter Megan Avery and husband Cody; great grandchildren Harper and Emma Avery, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Honorary Pallbearers are Jason Dewees, Jeffrey Dewees, Cody Avery, Wayne Springer and A.C. Collette.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to your local Hospice Facility.

Visitation will be Saturday,  August 24, 2019 from 1-2pm followed by  a Memorial Service at Canon Funeral Home at 2pm with  Pastor John Brandt officiating.
