Elva Jean Smith, age 91 of Waller, Texas, passed away on January 16, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents Clarence Wayne and Bertha Mae Phillips; husband Sidney B. McFarlin and husband Jack E.E. Smith; son Jackie Wayne Smith; daughters Susan Jean and Charlie Turner, Mary Beth and Ed Pankiewicz; grandchildren Kieth Polk, Michael Joseph Heath, and is survived by daughters Pam Garrett, Elaine Cherry and husband Randy, Marsha Jackson and husband Alfred, Terri Jo Heath, Barbara Smith; brothers Raymond Phillips, David Phillips; grandchildren Charon Marshall, Michelle Polk, Sean McFarlin and wife Jessica, Garret Woods, Briton Woods, Amanda Soliz and husband Gus, Hayden Heath, Angela Covington and husband Victor, Jessica Miller; great-grandchildren Kristian, Kyle, Shambree, Mia, Avery, Sadie, Trinity, Layton, Nora, Jude, Tyson, Kinsley, Kayleigh, Isabella, as well as other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday,  January 19, 2020 from 3-6 pm at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Monday, January 20, 2020 at 10am at Waller Baptist Church with Pastor Blake Nichols officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.
