Elouise Chaney, age 86 of Katy, passed away on March 25, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Evanita Lindley; brother Estes Lindley; and sister-in-law Molly Lindley.

She is survived by her loving husband, of 67 years, John H. Chaney; sons Larry Chaney and wife Marian, Gary W. Chaney and wife Elia; daughter Carol A. Chaney and husband Richard Stoker; brother Gordon Lindley and wife Barbara; grandchildren Clayton Chaney, Lauren Chaney, Emmily Chaney, Madison Chaney, Eli Chaney; as well as many other family and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 2, 2023, from 4-6pm at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Monday, April 3, 2023, at 10am at Canon Funeral Home with Gordon Lindley officiating. Interment will follow at Waller Cemetery.
