Ellie Mae, "Maye" Prince, age 83 of Hempstead passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016. Mae is preceded in death by her son, Boyd Wayne Prince, mother, Josephine Youngblood, sisters, Eunice Mitchell and Bernice Ferguson; and survived by her husband, Alton Doyal Prince, son, Chris Prince, daughter, Allison Kwiatkowski and husband Tommy, sister, Beatrice Horn. She was also known as Nanna to her grandchildren, T.J. Kwiatkowski and wife Kiley, Amy Carlton and husband Jason, Adam Prince and wife Kadesha, and Ashley Prince. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and others who were dear to her heart.

Visitation will be at Canon Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 5 - 8pm. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016 at 10:00AM at Hempstead Cemetery with Pastor Katy Ware officiating. Interment will follow.
