Ellen Elizabeth Harris, age 96 of Hondo, formerly of Hempstead, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Earl Harris, daughter Barbara Ann Garrett; and survived by son, George Ernest "Butch" Harris and wife Rosemary; daughter, Ernestine Elizabeth Zimmerman and husband Larry Joe; grandchildren, Leslie Zimmerman, Tammy Tomczak, Scotty Harris, Jamie Haley, Jerry Hashaw, Jason Hashaw, Kelly Hashaw; as well as numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and other family members and friends .
