Elfreda L. Wendt, age 87 of Bellville, Texas passed away on February 6, 2023. She is preceded in death by her parents Fritz & Sophie Frey; sisters Rosalie Brooks, Opal Adams and Marguarite McCaffety; grandson Jake Gregory; great grandson Graysen Gregory; stepson Kevin Wendt; step grandchildren Justin Hernandez; Brad and Calynn Brigance.

Elfreda is survived by her husband Wilbert Wendt; sons Kenneth Gregory, David and wife Glenda Gregory, Scott and wife Joanne Gregory; grandchildren Duane and Carrie Gregory, Tiffiny Gregory Rodriguez, Brandon Gregory, Jenifer and husband Greg Deutrich, Buddy and wife Samantha Gregory, Vincent Gregory; great grandchildren Ava Gregory, Jayden and Kennedi Rodriguez, Maddie Gregory, Ashton, Ethan, Maci Deutrich, Alyson Gregory; step-children Michelle and husband David Mitchell, Tracy and husband Cody Corum; Rodney and wife Veronica Klausmeyer, Donna and husband Rick Kennedy; step grandchildren Dalton and Gunnar Mitchell, Preston Hernandez, Rustin and Lily Corum.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 11, 2023, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Funeral Services will follow at Canon Funeral Home with Eddie Noack officiating. Interment will follow at Frey Family Cemetery.
