Dorothy Ahlstedt, age 70 of Hempstead passed away on November 1, 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Inez Nelson; brothers, James D, Alvin and Tommy Nelson; and survived by husband, Richard Ahlstedt; daughters, Keisha Lehnert and husband Christopher and Jamie Colley and husband Justin; brothers, Billy Nelson and wife Donella and Jimmy Nelson and wife Diane; sister Charlene Arbaugh and husband Butch; grandchildren, Jonathan and Aaron Lehnert, and sister-in-law Loretta Nelson as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.

A Memorial Services will be Friday, November 6, 2015 at 2pm at Canon Funeral Home with Rev. Les Arbaugh officiating.
