Delilah Garcia, age 10 of Waller, passed away on November 17, 2021. She is survived by her mother Erica Carrillo; stepfather Jesus Castaneda; brothers Joe Zamora, Alexander Garcia; sister Amrielle Zamora; grandparents Benjamin and Elidia Carrillo; grandmother Norma Barron; grandfather Reuben Garcia; Uncle Benjamin Carrillo, Jr.; Aunt Rosa Gonzalez; Aunt Patricia Carrillo and Uncle Gilbert Rodriguez; Aunt Briana Solis; Uncle Adrian Solis; cousins Bianca, Jon, Claiton, Jacob and Lorenzo; as well as many other cousins, other relatives and numerous friends.

Delilah will continue to help others through her generous organ donations.

Delilah, better known as "Sour Patch", to her family, went to Evelyn Turlington Elementary School. She enjoyed baking, cooking, crafting, and swimming. She enjoyed fun days with her parents, siblings and family gatherings. She loved to help others. Delilah also loved her fruits and vegetables.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 27, 2021, from 10am-7pm at Canon Funeral Home with Rosary following at 7pm. Funeral Services will be Monday, November 29, 2021, at 11am at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church in Hempstead. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Hempstead.
