Deborah Christy, age 68 of Hempstead, Texas passed away on March 24, 2022. She is preceded in death by her husband Plessey "Chris" Christy; sister Donna Goodson; great granddaughter Savannah  and is survived by sons George Preston Alexander, Michael Curtis Ivy and wife Amy; daughter Vickie Lynn Ivy; sister Laurie Kieschnick and husband Byron; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 30, 2022, from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Services will be Thursday, March 31, 2022, at 1pm at Canon Funeral Home with Perry and Jonelle officiating. Interment will follow at Old Salem Cemetery.

Due to Covid-19, wearing a mask and social distancing is recommended.
