Charles Richard (Ric) Walters, born August 6, 1954, went home to be with Jesus on June 18, 2026. He is preceded in death by his father, Golding Frederick Walters; mother, Ruth Oliphint Walters; and grandson, Benjamin William Lohmer, Jr.

Ric is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Joyce Walters; daughters Heather Sides and husband Matthew, and Ruth Lohmer; son Peter Walters; sisters Joel Franklin and husband Charles Martin Franklin, Denise Walters and husband Roy Nolan; grandchildren Hannah Sides, Grant Sides, Abigail Lohmer; as well as many other relatives and friends.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Servant of his country, his friends and family, and of his God.

My hope is in the Lord, from this time on, forevermore.
