Charles Ray Edwards, age 83 of Hockley, passed away on January 26, 2025.

He is preceded in death by his parents Kenneth and Alpha Edwards; brother Melvin; grandson Kirby Killion Jr.; and daughter-in-law Lisa Auippa.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 18 years Dorothy Fay Edwards; sons David Auippa, Charles Edwards; daughter Kimberly Killion (Kirby); stepdaughter Jennifer Wallace; brother Coy Wayne Edwards (Linda); grandchildren Lisa Carter (Jason), Megan Killion, James Killion, Randal Mentz II, Jenna Mentz, Dylan Gladden, Athena Wallace, Justin Auippa; great grandchildren Madison Weaver, Kaden Carter, Haisley Carter, Colten Carter, Karson Killion; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday January 30, 2025 from 4-7pm at Canon Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be Friday, January 31, 2025, at 10am at Canon Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00pm at San Jacinto Cemetery, 14659 East Fwy, Houston, TX 77015.
