Catherine Longa, age 77 of Hempstead, passed away on June 12, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents Peter and Marie Martucci and her husband William Frank Longa. Catherine is survived by her sons Bill Longa and wife Cheryl, Steven Longa and wife Karen, Joey Longa and wife Stephanie; daughter Lisa Boettcher and husband Mike; sisters Fran Politi, Barbara Lehne; grandchildren Tyler, Lindsey, Colby, Carson, Calan, Taylor, Emily; as well as other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday,  June  16, 2020 from 5-7 pm at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 10am at Canon Funeral Home with Deacon John Pelletier officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Hempstead.
