Carol Ann Alexander, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026, just two days after her 82nd birthday, at her home in the presence of her loving family. Born on July 19, 1944, in Camden, Texas, to the late Connie Lee (Neal) and Alfred Buren McKnight.

Carol is survived by her devoted son, Greg Alexander, and his wife, Tammy, of Hockley, Texas: Grandsons Dusten Alexander and Bailey Alexander, with many great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by a brother, Ray and wife Carrie McKnight; sisters Jean (Sue) Cox and Betty Catherine and husband Mike Davis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jerry (Butch) McKnight and Donald (Pee Wee) McKnight, and sister, Cynthia Scott.

A dedicated employee of the United States Postal Service for many years, Carol was known for her strong work ethic. Carol loved to bake and cook.  She always baked for her son every year for his birthday and for the holidays especially.

Carol loved watching game shows, never missing an episode of "The Price is Right," "Jeopardy," "Press Your Luck," or others.  She also liked watching TV shows like the "Reba" series and different stories on the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Mysteries. One of her favorite places to go to was "Pickles," where she enjoyed spending time with the owner and others, along with playing Shuffleboard.

In honoring Carol's memory, the family suggests that donations be made to Cypress Assistance Ministries (CAM), 12930 Cypress N Houston Rd, Cypress, TX 77429, or a charity of your choice.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses, especially Monica and Pam, and other individuals at Choice Hospice for their support and care during Carol's final days.

There will be a private celebration of her life at a later date.
