Bobby Avery, age 78 of Hempstead passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, R.O. and Gladys Avery; wife Betty Joyce Avery; and son, Johnny Wayne Avery, son-in-law Reese Allen Burger, and survived by his son Kenneth Avery and wife Laura; daughter Sharon Burger; brothers, Bill Avery and Tony Avery and wife Carol; sisters, "Sis" Betty Pakkila, and Laverne Johnson; grandchildren, Cody Avery and wife Megan, Kasie Neel and husband, Cannon, Korie Smith and husband Cody, Austin Avery and wife Hilary and Kolby Avery; great grandchildren, Emma Kay and Harper Avery, Harlea Rae Smith, Sloane and Reese Neel, and Dawson Oliver.

Visitation will be at Canon Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 1-3 pm with the Funeral Services following at 3pm. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.
