Bobbie Ann Mathis, age 85 of Hempstead, passed away on December  15, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Winnie Bishop; brothers Mardell Bishop, Woolever Bishop; sister Olene Falls. She is survived by her husband Elton Raymond Mathis Sr.; children Kimberly Ann Goodrum and husband Larry Mack, Karen Raye Hackett and husband Steven, Elton Raymond Mathis Jr., honorary daughter Lori Pfeffer and husband Bobby; grandchildren David Ray Hackett, Bobbie Marie Hackett, Melissa Sue Hackett, Allison Elizabeth Hackett, Daniel Keith Hackett, Sarah Kathryn Hackett, Charles Clayton Hackett, Andrew Payne Mathis, Henry Brooks Mathis; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday,  December  20, 2020 from 1-2pm at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2pm with Rev. Johnny Arnall officiating. Interment will follow at Old Salem Cemetery.
