Billy M. Gregory, age 86 of Hempstead, passed away on May 1, 2023.

He is preceded in death by his parents Fleat and Mildred Gregory; brother Benton R. Gregory; his loving wife of 65 years Mary Gregory; daughter Karen Gregory Underwood; and grandson Samuel J. Gregory.

During his life he loved spending time with his family in the great outdoors, camping, fishing, and visiting numerous national and state parks. He spoke often of the trips to Alaska and all the fun along the way.

Billy is survived by his son Stephen M. Gregory and wife Sharyn; daughter Cynthia Ann Gregory; grandchildren Brandon Eric Gregory and wife Angelic, Stephen Joseph Gregory and wife Christina, Sandra Underwood, Henry Hank Underwood and wife Kaitie; great granddaughters Myla and Chloe; great grandsons Brandon and Nathan; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Billy is in the care of Canon Funeral Home.
