Betty Norris Kluna of Hempstead, Texas passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at the age of 79. She is preceded in death by her parents Donald V. Norris and Effie Norris. She is survived by her husband Wayne Kluna; daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Steve Lyons; Son and daughter-in-law Robert and Tammy Kluna; grandchildren Lindsay Dawson, Walter (Charmayne) Kluna and Meagan (Dustin) Holub; and 8 great grandchildren Cameron, Layken, Ryder and Ansley Dawson, Peyton, Kasen and John Wayne Holub, and Wyeth Kluna. Betty is also survived by 3 brothers, Donald (Jeanette) Norris, Pete Norris and Jerry Norris.
Betty was born on July 23, 1941 in Houston, Texas. She and Wayne were married on June 13, 1959 in Cypress, Texas. They had a wonderful and fulfilling marriage for 61 years. To her family and many people around Hempstead, Betty was like an angel on Earth. She would do anything for anybody and was always so loving and kind. She was the best wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend anyone could ask for. We will dearly miss her.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 10am at First United Methodist Church in Hempstead, Texas with John Montgomery officiating. Interment will follow at Hempstead Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to First United Methodist Church in Hempstead, Texas.
Due to Covid-19, wearing a mask and social distancing is recommended.
