Bartley Cone Eagleston, age 92 of Cypress passed away on March 28, 2021. Bartley is preceded in death by his parents, Harry & Ethel Eagleston, and brother, Edgar Eagleston. He is survived by, Wife, Julia Eagleston; Sons, Mark & Patricia Eagleston of Cypress, and Todd and Andrea Eagleston of Houston; Daughters, Brenda Eagleston of The Woodlands and Suzelle and Charles Roth of Austin; Grandchildren, Carrie Ann Cornett, Mark Christian Eagleston, Michael Travis Eagleston, Seth Daniel Eagleston, Zoe Alexandra Eagleston, Sean Alexander Eagleston, Nicholas Peter Roth and Philip Christopher Roth; and Great-grandchildren, Shayla McKay, Adrian Cornett, Whitley Cornett, Aria Kay Eagleston, and Declan Cruz Eagleston; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Bart was a devoted, loving husband and father who had a lifelong faith in Jesus Christ.  He was always willing to help others in need and was always genuinely interested in the lives of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  Shortly before his passing, Bart expressed his faith and testimony in Christ with great emotion.  He recalled a scripture from the book of John chapter 6, verses 66 through 69, "From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.  Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?  Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go?  Thou hast the words of eternal life.  And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God."
