Alvenia Anne Davis, age 83 of Katy passed away on December 26, 2025. She is preceded in death by her parents Silas and Dorothy Bruce; husband Jerry E. Davis, Sr.; brothers Silas and Clarence Bruce.

She is survived by her sons, Jerry Estell Davis, Jr. and wife Yanling, Jeffrey Lynn Davis, Jody Paul Davis and wife Peggy, Patrick Jay Davis Sr., Michael Morgan Davis and wife Jill, Patrick Jay Davis, Nathan Lee Davis; daughters, Jenny Anne Renault and husband Jeffrey, Kathryn Bruce Shepherd and husband Roy; 17 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Patrick Davis, Jr., Nathan Davis, Roy Shepherd III, Kaleb Shepherd, Ethan Davis, Forrest Davis and Sawyer Davis. Honorary Pallbearers are Ashley Miller, Kendal Torres, Kirsten Beasley, Darcy Heidbreder, Morgan Ohr, Avery Renault, Kennedy Renault, Reagan Shepherd and Monica Shepherd.

Visitation will be Friday, January 2, 2026 from 12-2pm at Canon Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2pm with Richard "Pete" Bruce officiating. Interment will follow at Fields Store Cemetery.
