Amy Nicole
Garcia
Oct 18, 2004 — Aug 16, 2021
Amy Nicole Garcia, age 16 of Cypress, passed away on August 16, 2021. She is preceded in death by her grandmother Mary Savage and her great aunt Peggy Maguire. Amy is survived by her parents Kelly and Eric Garcia; brother James Ponder III; sisters Jessica Ponder, Sara Anne Garcia, Cassandra Garcia; grandparents Richard Savage, Robert and Cheryl Hooper; niece Stacie Ponder; nephew Samuel Ponder; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends.
Amy was many things, Daughter, Sister, Niece, Cousin, Best Friend, Confidant. These are titles she held very close to her heart, and she gave 100% of her heart and soul to be the very best in each category. She was a loving, compassionate individual with a heart of gold, striking beauty, and an infectious laugh that would light up the largest of cities. Her infectious laugh was one of those that you hear and begin to smile, that turns to a giggle, that turns into the belly role, that is so contagious that you cannot help but take part until you would literally be busting at the seams yourself!
Amy dreamt big for herself. She admired Architecture and interior design, and one day hoped to attend Louisiana Tech in Ruston, LA. This was such a fitting path for Amy, it fit her eclectic nonsymmetrical outlook on life. It did not matter that something didn't match, she spent 16 years not caring about such things. Amy was about comfort, texture, good vibes, and soft touches.
Amy,
Mommy can hear you baby, and Daddy can feel you too. We can only imagine the sight and everlasting love that has surrounded and come over you. We will see you soon baby girl.
