Alva Rufe Zimmerman, Sr., age 73 of Houston passed away on Wednesday July 25, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rufus F. Zimmerman and Helen Louise Zimmerman, wife, Cheryl Ann Zimmerman, sisters, Rutha Lee and Beverly; and is survived by son, Chip Zimmerman; daughter, Laura Westmoreland; brother, Larry Zimmerman and wife Ernestine; sisters, Gwen Murray and Judy Zimmerman.
